HK art toy veteran Elphonso Lam brings his retro urban aesthetic to the TEQ63 with not one, but two Artist Series editions of the popular figure from QUICCS x Martian Toys. Lam’s double header release includes the Hong Kong Skull and the Red Death editions. Hong Kong Skull features a bomber jacket style hoodie and retro blue jeans. Red Death embraces the afterlife with an animation-style skull face (eyes and brows) and skeletal hoodie.
The Hong Kong Skull TEQ63 vinyl art toy (6″) will be available as a DesignerCon Summer Exclusive on Saturday (8.28) from 10 AM to 1 PM PDT from the Martian Toys stream for $97. The Red Death edition will be available exclusively on Martian Toys’ Whatnot stream beginning at 3PM PDT. The set of two will be available at a later date via Martian Toys’ online store.
