Hebru Brantley is set to release his highly-anticipated Gaia OG vinyl art toy. The calming design features Lil Mama as Gaia, the fabled personification of Mother Earth. Wearing her hallmark aviator goggles, Lil Mama glides on a cloud high above everyday life. Often associated with good fortune, Brantley has designed his take on Gaia as an amulet that will ‘…provide you and those you love with blessings and protection…’ The OG edition is the 2nd in a series of 5 colorways and follows the Sepia Edition which was released in May 2021 by the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago’s store.
An edition of 1000, the Gaia OG vinyl art toy (7.5″) will be available for $225 on Friday (7.30) from Hebru Brantley’s site (11 AM PDT) and in-person at Rotofugi in Chicago (10 AM CDT) and Toy Tokyo in NYC (1 PM EDT).
