Charming, candy-coated cacti calavera incoming..! Caramelaw brings her sweet design skills back to Superplastic’s signature platform figure with the new Candivera SuperJanky vinyl art toy. The deliriously delightful design starts with the instantly-recognizable calavera (sugar skull) seen during Day of the Dead celebrations and adds in a trio of cacti growing out of the top of the skull. And yes, there’s a splash of candy too, from the candy sprinkles on the front to the peppermint on the back.
While the new SuperJanky shares the basic inspiration and name with Caramelaw’s previous Candivera Janky released as part of Janky Series 2, the new figure embraces the full possibilities of a nearly brand-new sculpt. Where the mini embraced candy, the new 8″ design focuses more on the traditional calavera and of course, dancing cacti.
