It’s that time again, while we’d normally be anticipating SDCC, it’s once again been postponed until 2022 (ignoring the unusual Thanksgiving Weekend for the moment). Thankfully, brands will likely once again keep the summer convention spirit alive with their own virtual events. For its part, DKE Toys will present #DKECon SDCC 2021 (7.23 – 7.25) featuring a range of art toys with a heavy emphasis on carded art action figures (‘bootlegs’ if you like).
The summer lineup starts off with none other than a new installment of the ever-popular The Great Showdowns series by Scott C. featuring a tense moment between Jules and Brett from Pulp Fiction. The set features each character as a 3.75″ resin action figure on an oversized card featuring Scott C.’s memorable painting of the scene.
