Kevin Lyons’ reggae themed monster returns with the new Buffalo Solider Polka Dots sofubi art toy from BlackBook Toy. The whimsical Polka Dots edition features white polka dots on the character’s bright red boy. Amusingly, the eyes blend into the overall design as two special polka dots. As seen in the photos, the polka dots are crisp despite the figure’s challenging fur texture. While based on the timeless decorative pattern, the new edition does reference the character’s reggae inspiration with the green, yellow and red beanie.
The Buffalo Soldier Polka Dots sofubi art toy (7.87″) will be available on Thursday (6.24) at 8 PM PDT from BlackBook Toy’s online store for ¥14,300 ($130). A small quantity of the previously released Split Fountain edition will also be available at the same time due to cancellations.
