Broken Bones by Klav x Frank Mysterio at Mothership Gallery

Previous Next

Mothership Gallery presented the opening of the Broken Bones 2-person show from Klav x Frank Mysterio on Saturday evening (6.26). The show features one-off customs from both artists across a wide-range of toys both Western and Eastern.

One common canvas of choice for both artists is the TEQ63 family of figures designed by QUICCS. Both Klav and Frank Mysterio customized the standard 6″ size and 12″ MegaTEQs. Klav also went a few steps beyond, going where few have gone, with his hand-customized 24″ GigaTEQ. Each artist also showcased their own figures with Klav offering several hand-painted versions of his Tank Club figures while Frank Mysterio created special one-offs of his newest toy, Mictlan.

If you can’t make it out to Philadelphia to view the show in person, the full catalog is online with several pieces still available for purchase.
