Chris Ryniak has dreamt up another sweet treat for collectors in the form of the brand-new Toastboy mini figure. Debuting in the light yellow Butter Edition, Toastboy is taking it easy in a seated position with his teeny tiny feet out in front. The toy also features Ryniak’s signature black eyes.
Where do new toys come from? Toastboy started life as one of Ryniak’s Morning Scribbles posted on National Toast Day back in 2019. He’s also the star of his very own print ($15). And now he’s the latest Chris Ryniak art toy. Compared to the drawing and the print, the toy seems to have a bit of a nervous, ‘do not eat me’ vibe —maybe it’s the facial expression.
The Toastboy Butter Edition mini resin art toy (1.5″) will be available on Saturday (5.29) at 8 AM PDT from Bindlewood for $18 each—one per household.
