The upcoming Have A Nice Day resin art toy sculpture from Indonesian artist Mrkumkum (Paskalis Kunang) x Clutter features a double-cast take on the defiant gesture. The design features an outer clear-cast hand and an inner stylized hand skeleton painted in the artist’s signature gold and black palette.
Looking back in time, this figure was preceded by Mrkumkum’s 2D hand-embellished prints released for Clutter’s annual Giftwrap show (December 2020). The prints were in part inspired as a response to the brutal year that was 2020.
An edition of ten, the Have A Nice Day resin art toy sculpture (8x8x12″) will be available on Wednesday (5.5) at 6 PM PDT on the NTWRK app for $1800 each.
