Indonesian artist Kong Andri continues his Owangeboy statue series with the new Baseball Boy edition resins. The well timed drop celebrates the Spring/Summer sport with a fun design putting the mechanical wunderkind on team Owange complete with jersey and stylized baseball cap.
Andri has clearly enjoyed designing the uniforms and logos from the clever ‘OB’ spin on the New Era logo on the cap to his use of the jersey number as each piece’s individual serial number. Going one step beyond his previous efforts, each Baseball Boy features hand-painted numbers on both the front and back of the team jersey.
An edition of 17, the Owange Boy Statue – Baseball Boy resin art toy sculpture (7.87″) will be available on Friday (4.23) at 5 AM PDT from Kong Andri’s site for $650. Each figure includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
