BlackBook Toy is set to release the ‘Mini’ Lil Alex OG sofubi art toy by Frank Kozik. This first fully-painted edition of the new smaller size (6.3″) features the classic A Clockwork Carrot colorway first seen in the larger (11.22″) figure.
Turns out that little brother has some tricks up his sleeve, mainly additional articulation. In addition to an articulated head and arms, the ‘Mini’ version features articulated legs enabling the sharp-edged rabbit to sit down as well as stand. The travel photo friendly design also includes a mini sofubi carrot. BlackBook Toy continues their tradition of fun and creative ‘extras’ with a black+white mini Lil Alex bandana—sized just so to wrap around the figure. Please note that the clear toy seen in the photos is just for size reference and is not included in this release.
The ‘Mini’ Lil Alex OG sofubi art toy (6.3″) will be available from BlackBook Toy for ¥9,800 ($91) via lottery from Thursday (4.22) at 8 AM PDT through Sunday (4.25) at 7:59 AM PDT.
