Funko launched the Funko Shanghai Popup event at Joy City in Shanghai this past Saturday (4.24). Held in the shopping mall’s atrium, the month-long event brings the joy of Pop! to China. The gleaming popup space features futuristic cylindrical displays housing giant Pop! statues of Freddy Funko, Batman, The Joker, Monkey King and more.
This premiere retail experience is the place for Pops! in China with a large selection of the brand’s signature vinyl toys across a wide selection of the hottest pop culture properties including DC, Marvel and more. The Shanghai popup is also of course the place for exclusives including a shiny metallic version of Batman in traditional Chinese armor. There are more exclusives to come as well.
