The XXPOSED SpongeBob SquarePants Rainbow Swirls polystone art toy from Jason Freeny x Mighty Jaxx features a trippy wave of color flowing across Bikini Bottom’s most iconic inhabitant. From the promo pics, it appears that the swirls are limited to the exterior while the anatomical detail is blue and red. This is the third XXPOSED release following the OG SpongeBob and OG Patrick Star releases.
XXPOSED is the next evolution of Freeny’s anatomical take on popular characters. Instead of the dissected designs featured in the XXRAY series, XXPOSED figures are split into two magnetically connected halves with the character’s anatomy carved on the inner surfaces. The design concept allows the figures to be displayed ‘whole’ or split apart to show off the inner workings of the characters.
The XXPOSED SpongeBob SquarePants polystone art toy (6″) will be available, presumably preorder, on Wednesday (3.17) at 6 AM PST for $269 (worldwide shipping included).
