After two rounds of teasers, Umi Toys Hawaii pulls back the curtain on two of Scribe’s hand-painted Artist Proof editions of the upcoming Umi Toys Hawaii Exclusive Rumpus TEQ: Bat Pigs vinyl art toy created in collaboration with QUICCS and Martian Toys. The ‘Line Art‘ and ‘False Crack‘ APs feature varying degrees of hand-embellishment on the new Rumpus clad in cool gray and blue hues.
With the ‘Line Art’ APs it appears that Scribe has added line detail to Rumpus’ eyes, ears, snout and hands in order to add to the Rhino’s presence. ‘Appears’ because the production version has yet to be revealed for comparison. With ‘False Crack’, Scribe delivers a fierce Rumpus with a swollen, puffy red eye and a blood-splattered hoodie.
The Rumpus TEQ: Bat Pigs AP edition vinyl art toys (6″)—’Line Art’ (25 pcs, $125) & ‘False Crack (20 pcs, $160)—are set to drop exclusively from Umi Toys Hawaii on Monday (3.22) at 11 AM PST. Stay tuned for information on the general release of the Rumpus TEQ: Bat Pigs figure.
