Hawaii-based 7Sketches’ signature panda comes to life with the new Sad Panda vinyl art toy produced by Strangecat Toys. Seen on the artist’s murals and a series of stickers, the panda’s sad feelings flow through its large downcast eyes and the double-bandaged boo boo on the forehead. Sad Panda’s 2D to 3D journey was skillfully handled by digital sculptor Oasim Karmieh.
An edition of 100, the Sad Panda vinyl art toy (4.5″) will debut at Aloha Con at From The Heart in Hawaii this weekend (3.6-3.7) and then online on Sunday (3.7) at 11 AM PST from Strangecat Toys for $60.
