When it was announced back in December, we were impressed by Attack Peter’s compelling Daruma vinyl art toy created in conjunction with Skybound Entertainment x Mighty Jaxx. The eagerly awaited figure is now available for preorder—details below.
Known for his detailed wood/linoleum block prints of super heroes, kaiju and more, Attack Peter’s fiery orange and yellow version of the iconic Daruma doll features an intricate overlapping floral petal design with additional blue flowers clustered along the base. By incorporating subtle ‘carving’ marks into the design, the art toy stands as a three-dimensional translation of Attack Peter’s prints created from his carved wood/linoleum block masters.
An edition of 400, Attack Peter Daruma vinyl art toy (7 x 7.26 x 6.87″) is available for preorder from Skybound for $200. The figure is slated to ship sometime in April 2021.
