Bushido-Onican Bred Edition by Crack x Inch Lab

Indonesian graffiti artist / designer Crack channels his over-the-top urban aesthetic into the new Bushido-Onican vinyl art toy produced by Malaysia-based Inch Lab. Riffing off his passion for Japanese culture, Crack delivers a Samurai spray can figure with an Oni (demon) like mask. Bushido-Onican’s design blends the character’s samurai helmet with spray can head for a fresh take on graffiti toys. The character’s name comes from the Samurai’s code of Bushido which requires a strict adherence to the core principles of loyalty, courage, honour and an appreciation and respect for life.

The debut Bred edition features a black and red design throughout from the samurai helmet and oni mask to the spray can and kicks. With the mask removed, the color balance shifts from red to black with the GID eyes popping off the black can. Oni is ready for any and all battles with a spray can in one hand and a katana in the other.

An edition of 150, the Bushido-Onican Bred Edition vinyl art toy (6.3″) will be available for pre-order for $128 on Friday (2.5) at 7 PM PST from Inch Lab as well as several retailers including myplasticheart, Tenacious Toys, Strangecat Toys, J.P. Toys Gallery (Thailand), Toystation (HK), PlayToysForever (Taiwan), Solid Toys (Philippines), Collectors Hunt (Malaysia) and Toyist Zone (Vietnam). In a bit of unexpected news, the figure will come in blister-carded packaging for a bit of an action figure vibe.
