Korea-based CoolrainLABO has collaborated with Pop Mart on a new series of NBA figures featuring four team mascots. The figures offer stylized, lowpoly-like versions of The Raptor (Toronto Raptors), Bango (Milwaukee Bucks), Rocky (Denver Nuggets) and Bear (Utah Jazz). Known for their hyper-detailed toy shoe designs, CoolrainLABO has outfitted each mascot with stylin’ open-toe kicks—perfect for those big, furry toes.
Editions of 2000, the four NBA x CoolrainLABO x Pop Mart vinyl art toys will be available on January 29, 2021 in China from Pop Mart and other retailers/apps in China for ¥599 ($92). Given the pricing, we expect these to be medium size figures. We will try to confirm availability outside of the China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan regions. Considering the license and the relatively low run, we expect that these will be limited the four Asian regions.
