Announced on a momentous day, the new Liberty resin art toy sculptures by Buff Monster is his celebration and commitment to positive, uplifting change. The artist’s first new figure in quite some time features his signature one-eyed ice cream character as the Statue of Liberty, carrying an ice cream cone ‘torch’.
Liberty debuts with the release of twenty five hand-painted sculptures in a rainbow of colors and a variety of techniques and finishes. Some feature crackle while others have glitter. Each is sealed with automotive clear coat for lasting protection. Beyond this first edition, Buff Monster does not plan on releasing additional hand-painted Liberty pieces. Subsequent releases would have a different deco approach, possibly solid color editions.
An edition of 25, the Liberty resin art toy sculpture (11″) will be available on Friday (1.22) at 8am PST from StayMelty for $1200 each. Each sculpture comes in a laser-engraved wood box and is signed/dated on back of figure.
