The next edition of MCA’s Evil Ape Fink vinyl art toy brings things full circle back to the origins of the artist’s Evil Design brand. MCA created a Tee-shirt design featuring Paul Rubens (Pee-wee Herman) as a horned devil in reaction to the actor/comedian was vilified in the media after he was arrested back in 1991. That first shirt spawned Evil Design its signature Evil Ape character. Thirty years after the unfortunate incident, the new ‘Big Adventure’ edition celebrates the actor’s performances as the unforgettable character with a riff off Pee-wee’s signature gray suit and red bow tie.
An edition of 50, the Evil Ape Fink ‘Big Adventure’ Edition vinyl art toy (4″) will be available on Tuesday (1.26) at 9 AM PST from UVD Toys for $65.
