Painter Felix Treadwell has worked with VINS, a division of VTSS, to create an art toy sculpture of Feelo, the character he’s focused his work on for the last year or so, and also his nickname in school. The new polystone piece features the character’s flattish, elongated head, and somewhat apprehensive expression. The subject of her self-titled solo show (June 2020) at L21 Gallery in Spain, Feelo’s simple features and unassuming appearance invite an immediate sense of connection and empathy.
An edition of 130, the Feelo resin art toy sculpture (7.09″H x 10.63″W x 10.63″D) will be available for pre-order on Tuesday (12.22) at 7AM PST from VINS for $685. Feelo includes a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and wood box. The sculpture is slated to ship on January 4, 2021.
