Skybound Entertainment revealed the upcoming Attack Peter Daruma vinyl art toy from Attack Peter (Peter Santa-Maria) as part of its virtual Skybound XPO. Inspired by the Daruma doll’s message of setting and achieving goals, the artist has featured the iconic image in several of his linoleum block prints.
Attack Peter’s first vinyl art toy—produced by Mighty Jaxx—features a fiery orange take on Daruma with a bulls-eye, fangs, and a sculpted-in overlapping scale pattern. He has incorporated subtle ‘carving’ marks to tie the toy back into his signature block print process. Daruma sits on a base surrounded by flowers and wind swirls.
The Attack Peter Daruma vinyl art toy (7″) will be available for pre-order in early 2021.
