Jun Oson has collaborated with Diesel Art Gallery on a fully-painted edition of his Red Dog vinyl art toy. The seated figure features the chill dog relaxing in casual clothes while checking out his cell phone. The unassuming, minimalist design of Oson’s curious, canine character invites reflection.
Created for the artist’s D_I_S_T_A_N_C_E exhibition, the new edition follows the previously sold-out solid red edition. he figure comes in a deluxe canvas bag featuring a line drawing of the character.
An edition of 170, the first 100 pieces of the Red Dog vinyl art toy will be available on Friday (11.27) at 6:30 PM PST from the Diesel Art Gallery’s online shop for ¥11,000 ($106). This product will only be shipped to addresses within Japan.
