Mighty Jaxx introduces a fun new blindbox line with the upcoming Furr Fwenz: Sesame Street series. As you might have guessed from the name, each of the nine Sesame Street figures is in fact, flocked. While we’re not sure if an all-flocked mini series is a first per se, it’s certainly quite unusual.
The series features stylized, cute versions of six popular Sesame Street characters including: Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Count von Count, Elmo, Grover and Oscar. Each flocked figure comes with a fun accessory from Elmo’s goldfish to Big Bird’s teddy bear. In addition to the six standard figures, there are two Rare designs (1/24)—Big Bird Stripes and Grover Stars—as well as the Ultra Rare (1/48) Elmo Hearts.
The Furr Fwenz: Sesame Street blindbox art toys (4″) will be available on Wednesday (11.11) at 9 PM Singapore time (5 AM PDT) from Mighty Jaxx for $13.99/blindbox or $167.88 for a display case of 12. As with Mighty Jaxx’s other Sesame Street releases, the new series is only available to customers residing in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia and China.
