LA artist Thomas Han brings his bright, psychedelic aesthetic to Superplastic’s platform toy with the upcoming Shroomie SuperJanky. Bathed in vibrant pastels, Shroomie incorporates Han’s exuberant flourishes and overlapping color splashes. Reflecting highs and lows, the design features a happy shroom on the front and a defeated one on the back. Han’s recurring demon character lurks at the back, perhaps a reminder of more troubling times.
The Shroomie SuperJanky vinyl art toy (8″) will drop on Thursday (10.8)
at 11 AM PDT from Superplastic for $90 and is slated to ship in January 2021.
