Winson Ma has created a striking, zombified interpretation of Go Nagai’s iconic Mazinger Z. Mazomger re-envisions the giant robot as a lumbering, undead amalgam of machine and creature of the night. Every inch of the glorious robot has been mutated by the zombie virus into a gnarly, organic form. The imaginative new vinyl art toy is part of Unbox Industries‘ ongoing series of crossover projects with the celebrated Japanese manga artist, officially licensed through Dynamic Planning.
The Mazomger vinyl art toy (12″) will be available for pre-order on Saturday (10.30) at 8 AM PDT from Unbox Industries for $160. The figure is slated to ship in the late December 2020 – January 2021 time frame.
