Where the original design celebrated the Japanese game designer’s latest triumph, Death Stranding, the new Boss Edition incorporates elements of his legendary Metal Gear Solid series from the designer’s camouflage outfit to the camo-wearing stasis baby complete with Solid Snake-like eye patch.
The Game Designer Boss Edition vinyl art toy is available as a 24-hour pre-order—closing on Sunday (10.25) at 6 AM PDT—from Mighty Jaxx for $189. This latest celebration of the video game legend is slated to ship in February 2021. As with all of the artist’s Authors figures, the new Game Designer features removable swappable parts including sunglasses, shoes, and stasis baby.
