UK artist Whatshisname’s signature pooping balloon dog is going upscale (and how) with the new Crystalworked POPek sculpture from Premiumworked. Yes, as the name suggests, the newest high-end POPek is crafted in precision-cut crystal glass. The alternating large and small facet cuts are designed to increase the reflectivity of the piece, giving the piece a different look with changing light. The Crystalworked POPek follows Premiumworked’s previously released Woodworked edition.
The Crystalworked POPek sculpture is available for pre-order from Premiumworked for $1,200 during a 24-hour window ending on Wednesday (10.28) at 6 AM PDT and is slated to ship in March 2021. The premium release includes a velvet-finished display box and signed metal certificate of authenticity.
