As part of APPortfolio’s Pop Infinity art project featuring artist interpretations of Disney’s beloved characters, David Flores has created the Real Boy fiberglass sculpture. Flores’ interpretation of Pinocchio features his signature segmented aesthetic realized in black, gray and silver plated sections for a gleaming monochromatic statement. Standing roughly 4 feet tall (122 cm), Real Boy’s proportions match up with Pinocchio’s dream of becoming a human child.
An edition of 50, the Real Boy fiberglass sculpture (48.03″) will be available for pre-order on Saturday (8.15) at 4 AM PDT from the Apportfolio online store with sales limited to Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau. The sculpture is slated to begin shipping on October 30, 2020.
