After a bit of a lull, Mab Graves’ Dinokitty vinyl art toy returns from 3DRetro in a new Pink Edition dropping on her birthday. The new colorway features several subtle shades of pink and piercing, soulful blue doll eyes. The Pink Dinokitty is the third edition and follows the OG Green and the Golden colorways.
Drawn from Graves’ surreal paintings blending the prehistoric and contemporary, Dinokitty is a convincing blend of feline and dinosaur from the scale texture throughout to the prehistoric tale and sharp claws. The figure has an almost tangible, lifelike presence, a credit to the artist and the production team who have brought her vision to life.
An edition of 200, the Pink Dinokitty vinyl art toy (9.5″) will be released on Tuesday (8.4) at 2 PM PDT for $80 each on 3DRetro’s live shopping stream on the Popshop Live mobile app—use code ‘arttoy’ to join. Adding to the excitement, Mab Graves will join the stream for the release and to chat with fans.
