The new Outside In Shoeuzi art toy is a collaboration between illustrator Ermsy and J-ldn. The trippy artist edition features a clear version of j-ldn’s signature resin Uzi with Ermsy’s skinny-limbed take on the Pink Panther nestled inside, wielding an Uzi, of course. This might be the most visually striking Shoeuzi release so far.
J-ldn’s provocative Shoeuzi art is a commentary on the effect sneakers, streetwear, and pop culture has among those that seek to collect and profit from it.
An edition of 100, the Outside in resin art toy (1:1 Uzi scale – 9.84″ long) will be available for £280 ($366) via a quick one hour lottery taking place on Saturday (8.15) at 9 AM PDT. While the official rules don’t state exactly how the lottery will be run, the mention of credit cards and the existence of a product page suggest it will be via the Shoeuzi online store. Safe best is to watch both the online store and his Instagram.
