Autobots assemble! From the cybernetic imagination of Singapore-based Clogtwo comes the new officially-licensed Mechasoul Optimus Prime polystone bust from Mighty Jaxx. Clogtwo’s take on the Autobot leader features his gritty, Mechasoul aesthetic with exposed wiring, conduit and electronic components. More generally, the artist’s style can be seen throughout the design from the numerous cracks in Optimus’ body to the curved rather than squared-off angles. The light-up LED eyes complete the Mechasoul makeover of the iconic Transformer.
The Mechasoul Optimus Prime polystone bust (10″ wide) will be available for pre-order on Wednesday (8.12) at 6 AM PDT from Mighty Jaxx for $359 (shipping included). This is the second Transformers bust from Mighty Jaxx following QUICCS’ Soundwave bust.
