LA artist Colin Ozawa has created the new Takeon Dream capsule collection with NYC-based apparel brand Takeon. Created as a reaction to the upside down pandemic world we find ourselves in, the uplifting concept stars Kenny, a dreamer finding happiness in his newfound solitude. In addition to creating several new tees for the capsule, Ozawa also designed Sidekick Kenny, his first art toy.
Standing 10.25″ tall, the Sidekick Kenny resin toy blends Takeon’s fashion and Ozawa’s signature Sidekick character style, defined by its use of simple shapes. Decked out in a Takeon hat and shirt, Kenny takes time to appreciate the beauty and promise symbolized by the daisy in his hand.
The Sidekick Kenny resin art toy is available for $160 from the artist’s web shop as well as from Takeon.
