Taiwan-based ODOMStudio’s new Race Robot set imagines a futuristic speedway dominated by autonomous drivers, perhaps because of the speed and the danger factor. The core Race Robot offering features the brand-new Race Robot driver and his menacing ride. The design of the driver incorporates automotive elements throughout including headlight-style eyes, armor that resembles the front end of a car and exhaust pipes on the rear. The Robot Race driver also has artist Odom Tseng’s signature bent horns featured on most of his toys.
Race Robot is available via lottery in two different sets. The deluxe ‘Set A’ ($250) features the Race Robot driver and car along with a special matching MOSOo RB figure. ‘Set B’ ($180) features just the Race Robot driver and car. Each driver is numbered (1-32) with 1-10 reserved for Set A and 11-32 reserved for Set B. The pricing is all-inclusive and includes the toys, shipping and Paypal fees. Entry is via Google forms for both Set A and Set B. The deadline to enter is Thursday (7.9) at 8:59 AM PDT.
