Scott C.’s latest addition to his The Great Showdowns toy series brings back haunting memories of a shapeshifting terror hunting researchers in Antarctica. The new deluxe set faithfully translates his humorous, light-hearted original painting into 3.75″ scale resin renditions of MacReady and the towering beast (~5″). This is a milestone release as it’s the first in the confrontational series to feature two full-sized combatants. Every set before it has pitted a full-sized character against a smaller, mini-sized one.
A signed/numbered edition of 50, the The Great Showdowns 2-figure set is slated to drop on a to-be-announced date direct from Scott C.’s web shop for $175. The two figures come sealed in blisters on the largest Showdowns backing card yet: 12 x 9″.
