In support of the Black Live Matters movement, KAWS will donate a portion of the proceeds of Tuesday’s releases to Color of Change and Black Lives Matter, with a goal of raising $250,00. The showcase release is certainly the brand-new Take vinyl art toy featuring a BFF hugging a small, seemingly sleeping Companion. The new figure will be available in three editions: Black, Blue and Pink. This is the latest in a string of figures exploring reationships between his characters and of course, between people. In addition to the new art toy, KAWS will be offering a restock of his Kaws: Companionship In the Age of Loneliness book and pieces from his private stock.
The Take art toy, the book and the other items will be available on Tuesday (6.9) at 9 AM PDT from KAWSONE.
