Eroded Brillo Box by Daniel Arsham x Archive Editions

Daniel Arsham brings his signature erosion-inspired aesthetic to Andy Warhol’s classic Brillo Box with the new limited-edition Eroded Brillo Box resin sculpture from Archive Editions with the permission of the Andy Warhol Museum. Building on the artist’s 2019 fine art multiple version, the new edition features Warhol’s signature piece with pockets of erosion, each revealing the crystalline structure within. Beyond the concept, Arsham’s work stands out for the absolutely convincing, organic nature of the reality-bending sculpts.

An edition of 500, the Eroded Brillo Box (9.65″) in white will be available on Friday (6.26) Beijing Time from Archive Edition’s WeChat page. As with all Archive Editions releases, this one is exclusive to China. Perhaps we’ll see an alternate color edition direct from Daniel Arsham’s Studio as was the case with the recent Pikachu figure that was released in White in China and in a Blue Crystalized edition direct from the artist’s online shop.
