Ming Ming has launched his brand-new EMMA sofubi in its debut edition. The classic red and blue color design pays homage to Tetsujin 28, the inspiration and starting point for the new figure. EMMA reimagines the classic robot with an organic, skull-based design. With a sheepish expression, and creepy doll eyes, this is one to remember. In fact, the visceral design has us thinking about the soul of giant robots and other ‘deep’ topics.
An edition of 23, the EMMA sofubi art toy (9″) is available for $160. To order drop an email to mmrobot@protonmail.com with your Full Name, Shipping Address with postal code, Paypal email, and your Instagram or Twitter account. If more than 23 orders are received (seems likely), this will become a lottery release which based on ‘two days’ should end roughly at 7 PM PDT on Friday (6.5).
