Korea-based Anatoy has just opened pre-orders for their new 12″ ANATEQ art toys from QUICCS. The new larger versions, call ’em 200%, are nearly identical to the original 6″ versions (2018) with a significant difference. The 12″ versions do not appear to use the OG figures’ innovative Anatoy modular body which featured swappable parts throughout for mix and match play. We’re assuming this to be the case based on the switch in materials from ABS in the original figures to soft vinyl for the 12″ versions.
A crossover between the Anatoy platform silhouette and the TEQ63, the ANATEQ is similar but distinct from QUICCS’ signature toy with a more slender profile and a puffy jacket vs. the standard TEQ hoodie. As with the OG figures, the 12″ toys will be available in three editions: OG Mode (Black), Ghost Mode (White) and God Mode (Gold).
Editions of 100, the 12″ ANATEQ soft vinyl art toys in Black, White and Gold are available for pre-order for $250 each direct from Anatoy. In addition to the three standard editions, Anatoy is all offering the 12″ ANATEQ DIY (Open Edition, $175).
