Known for her Negora line of cat kaiju sofubi, Japanese artist Konatsu’s next original vinyl is Ryudora, a friendly-looking dragon. The new kaiju has an attentive, almost magical pet-like appearance with two small wings, horns, and a large tail. The three-piece figure appears to have flames on the legs, a hint at the power within. Maybe it’s just, but the face reminds us of a cat.
There’s no release info yet, but we’re looking forward to seeing painted versions of Ryudora. Lots of exciting possibilities with multi-color gradient scales and flames.
