Piñatas are a blast. Taking turns hitting the candy-filled character (often a horse) until the sugary treasure pours out is a great stress reliever with a delicious reward. But… What about the fate of the poor Piñata?
The new Puñata art toy from Diyalogo Design and newly-launched Kiich Studios is a humorous answer. Tired of batting practice, the candy carrier isn’t taking it anymore. The first edition features a light blue + dark blue design and cleverly uses the spilling candy (and goo) to balance the figure. The sculpt is a fun rendition of the real thing down to the telltale paper frills.
An edition of 30, the Puñata (6”) resin art toy is available now from Kiich Studios for 4,500 PHP ($88). The figure includes stickers and a certificate of authenticity.
