UK artist Chappell’s popular Matsuko resin figure returns this weekend with a new sculpt. The Hi-Ho Matsuko (quick, where are the dwarves…) is ready to clear trees with axe slung over the shoulder and work gloves for safety and comfort. With a new active pose, Hi-Ho offers a contrast to the OG sculpt which featured the skull-faced lumberjane chillin in overalls, axe firmly planted in a stump. The new version is also a bit more city with a relaxed, rolled-sleeves tee.
The Hi-Ho Matsuko resin toys (8.3”) will be available for pre-order this Friday (5.15) at 12 PM PDT from the artist’s Mahalo Cabin for £74.99 ($92). While not officially announced, based on the promo images there appear to be three colorways: white + black tee, olive + black tee, and white + pink tee.
