Kidrobot goes green once again. First Dunny, now Frank Kozik’s Labbit undergoes the ChiaPet transformation with a trio of Chia Pet Smorkin Labbit Terracotta Art Figures. Subtitled ‘Yerba de Andes’ (Herb of the Andes), the new 5” Labbits bring a South America flair transforming Kozik’s signature bad boy Labbit into a hard-working pack animal.
The Chia Pet Labbits come in three colorways: the standard White edition (400 pcs, $29.99) from select retailers and two exclusive Kidrobot editions: Orange (200 pcs, $29.99) and Black (400 pcs, $29.99). Due to shipping issues, it appears that the White edition is not yet readily available at retailers. Displayed out of the box or used to full Chia effect (with included seed packet), the new figures offer a new turn for the venerable Labbit.
