Thai-based Kaiju Smuggler is now taking pre-orders for its Yaksha: Tha Tian soft vinyl art toys. Inspired by the Yaksha guardians often seen as giant statues throughout Thailand, the new figures are based on a pair of legendary demons: Tossakan (Green) and Saeng-Arthit (Red). The Yaksha figures feature intricate, meticulous sculpting through including their elaborate armor, headwear and weapons. Tossakan and Saeng-Arthit feature character-specific sculpts for their faces, ornamental headwear tops, and weapons. While we’ve seen numerous Yaksha-inspired toys in recent years, these may be the most sculpturally impressive to-date.
Kaiju Smuggler is offering early bird pre-order pricing through May 3rd, 2020 for the Yaksha: Tha Tian figures of $90 and $180 for a 2-figure pair (set) versus the regular pricing of $100 each. The first 150 red/green pairs ordered will include bonus resin weapon accessories: Tosskan’s Horcrux and Ultimate Sun Ray weapon (Waen Kaew).
