UK artist Joe Walsh, a.k.a. The Doodle Boy loves to draw, sketch and yes, doodle. Doodling since he was about four years old, his passion for creating has drawn quite a bit of attention from around the globe. Now Walsh is branching out into art toys. He’s collaborated with Kidrobot on the Doodle Boy 8” Dunny. The fun, energetic design features the young artist’s doodles and logo (rear) in vivid blue set against a matte black backdrop.

The intriguing nature of the project continues with Kidrobot’s unusual release plans. The Doodle Boy 8” Dunny has launched as a crowdfunded project of sorts via Loot Crate’s Loot Launcher platform. This is a great opportunity to pick up a Dunny with a style that is rarely seen on the platform and at the same time support a young artist’s growing career.

Available for $59.99, the Dunny will become a reality if at least 300 are pre-ordered by the campaign’s end on May 24th at 12:59 AM PDT. If funded, the figure will ship out in Fall 2020. If you’re wondering why Loot Launcher, Kidrobot and Loot Crate are both owned by NECA.
