Ashley Wood and his recently-established Underverse brand are expanding the Ashtroverse with the announcement of the upcoming Opera Ashtro Lad MK2 vinyl art toy. The weathered, muted blue and off white design is the second release of the new Ashtro Lad Mk2 figure, which stands 10″ tall versus the previous 8″ 3A version. Wood’s latest homage to Osamu Tezuka’s iconic manga character features three points of articulation with joints at the neck and shoulders.
The Opera Ashtro Lad MK2 vinyl art toy will drop on Sunday, May 17th 2020, from the Underverse web shop for $120. It’s great to see Ashley Wood cranking up the gears of his toy machine once again, following his closure of 3A.
