Mr. KumKum is known across Instagram as the steady-handed customized behind the mind-blowing gold on black art toy customs. The Indonesian artist’s signature style graces the new Clutter Exclusive Mr. KumKum Ravager from QUICCS x Martian Toys.
First shown in proto form roughly a year ago at TTE 2019, the factory paint application does an admirable job of replicating the artist’s golden skeletal design with textural detail throughout. While it doesn’t match the hyper-detail of his hand-done pieces, this production Ravager is a very credible translation of his style. For those that don’t have the good fortune to have one of just a handful of Mr. KumKum’s customs, this is an excellent opportunity to enjoy his work at a reasonable price.
