Graffiti artist André Saraiva has collaborated with the Billionaire Boys Club on a new art toy that cleverly combines his signature Mr. A character and the BBC’s astronaut mascot. The figure features a translucent-cast astronaut helmet and the familiar head (ball) version of Mr. A which fits neatly inside. Nestled within the BBC-branded helmet, Mr. A assumes the identity of the streetwear brand’s mascot. The concept represents both artist and brand equally in a seamless fashion.
The Astronaut Helmet figures will be available in three colorways: Yellow Helmet + White Mr. A, Green Helmet + Pink Mr. A and Purple Helmet + Black Mr. A No word yet on whether Mr. A is removable, but based on the promo shots it seems possible. The toys are slated to drop on Friday (5.1) from the Billionaire Boys Club web shop for $120 each.
