Back in 2017, Toyqube released a mono edition of the Astro Boy NY vinyl art toy, the first figure in their City Series. For fans that might have been losing hope that mono versions of the other city figures would become a reality, TQ has stepped up their black and white game by completing the colorway series with mono editions of both the Astro Boy Greeting (Bangkok) and Astro Boy LA vinyl art toys. This is a nice opportunity to up the color coordinated aspect of any collection, a sure fire way to create a timeless display. The mono editions are also a nice way of paying tribute to the iconic character’s manga roots.
The Astro Boy Greeting Mono ($125) and Astro Boy LA Mono editions ($145) are available for pre-order now directly from Toyqube’s online store. For a limited time, the Greeting & LA 2-figure set is available for the early-bird price of $250 (normally $270). The new Mono editions are slated to ship in Q3 2020.
