Konatsu continues her collaboration with Pop Mart on the new Can Neko Friends Sweet blindboxed minis. The followup to the first Can Neko Friends series, released back in October 2019, features thirteen designs catering to the sweet tooth with a tempting blend of Western treats including Chocolate, Doughnut, Shortcake and Pancakes and Eastern treats such as Dango, Pearl Milk Tea and Strawberry Mochi. Instead of the cats playing in and around the tuna cans featured in the first series, the new series sees them relaxing on and around tea cups, boba drinks, sunades, and more.
The Can Neko Friends Sweet series will be released on Thursday (3.5) in China. The series features 12 standard designs plus one chase (Strawberry Mo(chi) Cup). A display case of 12 blindboxes features the full set unless one is replaced by the chase. The cute, ‘tasty’ series is available for pre-order from several retailers including myplasticheart and Strangecat Toys for $11.00/blindbox.
