1000 Toys showcased several upcoming takes on popular franchises from Diamond’s booth at NY Toy Fair. Perhaps the biggest surprise were the Cuphead and Mughead figures from the frenetic video game. Slated for 2020, the big differentiator here appears to be the extreme articulation, one of 1000 Toys’ hallmarks.
1000 Toys also showed off an unpainted version of their upcoming Abe Sapien figure, part of their Hellboy Series. Interestingly the aquatic hero was shown in an unpainted form while a painted version was on display last July at SDCC. Speaking of the big red guy, he’s proven popular enough for a second run of the standard edition.
